It takes about 12 minutes to walk from the house to the top station of the cable car. It runs 3 times an hour, at XX:10, XX:35 and XX:45. The first trip is at 06:10 and the last trip at 20:35. On workdays and public holidays (except Sundays) from 5:35 am to 9:35 pm.
The children attend school in Stalden. They travel together by train to Kalpetran and then take the train to Stalden, or it takes them about 12 minutes by car to get to school. There is a village store at the top station of the Kalpetran-Embd cable car. Here you will find everything from hiking provisions to all the necessary everyday items.
